We wore our silly outfits, out-of-this-world accessories, costumes, and squishy red noses, all in the name of Red Nose Day 2016!
In the interest of raising awareness of child poverty, here in America and around the world, we once again participated in Red Nose Day, whose mission it is to lift children out of poverty, or as they put it “Laugh. Give. Save a kid.” With our mission of Bringing Out the Best in Everyone We Touch Because Every Life Matters, we’re more than happy to be a part of this awareness and fun-raising day.
So, we added a little WOW! Magic to the mix and held a party at our Campanelli location! Throughout the day, we had games, caricatures, and all kinds of fun on our lawn. We even raised money, more than $570, for the cause with our bake sale and pie-in-the-face event. For just $1 per whipped cream pie, anyone could pie our Colleague Adam in the face. Adam is well loved around here, but he still had a long line of people willing to pay to pie him!
But the big event of the day was our No Talent Show, a lip-syncing concert like no other you’ve ever seen! Our Colleagues and interns were superstars! We had performers like No Direction and Out of Sync. And performances of greats like Dancing Queen, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Lean On Me, Cake By the Ocean and more! And our host Adam “Seacrest” was fabulous, keeping us all enthralled with the wonderful show!
